Nasal cones assist in opening the nostrils to allow for the air to "fall in" rather than being sucked through a tiny straw and collapsing the airway more than it already is.

The tongue posture shield gets the tongue to stay up in the palate and against the soft palate, this controls snoring. 

The mouth tape holds the lips together towards each other, yet allows for air to pass through when needed. The body response to the lips held together is to cause the muscles of the face and mouth to relax and work together better to achieve MAS success.
